This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how KKSV Business Services Private Limite (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects your personal data when you use the Salary Now mobile application (“Application” / “App”) and any related services (“Services”). This Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, we collect about you or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

By accessing or using our Application or by providing your personal data, you acknowledge and consent that your information will be collected, stored, used, and disclosed in accordance with this Policy.

INTRODUCTION

The Company has developed the Salary Now Application through which users may apply for short-term loans (“Loan”) offered by various banks or non-banking financial companies (“Lenders”) based on loan agreements executed between you and the respective Lender.

Lenders have authorized the Company to collect, store, authenticate, verify, and distribute your personal data (“Personal Information”) as required for loan sanctioning and processing.

Personal Information is collected through the mobile application form (“Mobile Application Form”) available on the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the minimal personal data necessary to provide you with our Services. This includes:

a. Identity and Profile Information:

  • Name, parents’ names
  • Date of birth, gender, marital status
  • Photographs
  • Educational qualifications
  • Purpose of loan
  • Company/employer details
  • Address, email ID, phone number

b. KYC Information:

  • Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, and other government-issued identification documents.

c. Transaction Information:

  • Details of loan applications and transactions performed through the Platform or related to the Services.

d. Usage Information:

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, access logs, device identifiers, and activity on the App/Website.

e. Financial Information:

  • Bank account details, credit history, and data required for loan and repayment processing.

f. Application Information:

  • App installation details, version, application ID, installation channel, app usage patterns, and update logs. (For example, application status record i.e. downloading, installing, updating, deleting, installation channel via Google Play etc).

g. Log Information:

  • Cookies, IP address, crash logs, network request details, temporary message history, and system logs.

h. Device Permissions (One-time Access):

With explicit consent, we may access your device’s:

  • Camera, microphone
  • Fine and coarse location
  • File upload interface (for KYC uploads only)
  • SMS (solely for verification and device authentication)

We do not access your contacts, call logs, telephony functions, or media files, except as explicitly permitted for document upload.

We are required to collect your personal data to provide you with access to the Platform and services. In certain cases, we are required to collect personal data as required by law or under the terms. If you fail to provide us that data as and when requested by us, we will not be able to perform our obligation under the arrangement we have with you or are trying to enter into with you. In that case we have to cancel or limit your access to the services or Part thereof.

SOURCE OF INFORMATION

1. Information provided directly by you during registration, KYC, support interactions, or loan applications.

2. Information collected automatically (cookies, device metadata, logs), Most of the cookies are session cookies meaning they are automatically deleted from your storage at the end of a session. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case, you may not be able to use certain features on the Platform and you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently during a session. Additionally you may encounter cookies or other similar devices on certain pages of the platform that are placed by third parties. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties. Log information ie IP addresses, network request information, temporary message history, standard system logs and crash information.

3. Information from third parties such as credit bureaus, fraud-prevention partners, analytics providers, and publicly available sources.

4. No biometric data is stored by the Company or its Lenders

5. Information is collected on an as-is basis, and we are not responsible for inaccurate information submitted by you.

PURPOSE AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

We use your Personal Information strictly in accordance with applicable law, including to:

a. Provide and Improve Services:

  • Process and facilitate loan applications.
  • Maintain, improve, and develop our App and services.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Verify identity and prevent unauthorized access.

b. Compliance and Legal Obligations:

  • Comply with RBI guidelines and the Information Technology Act.
  • Respond to legal requests, court orders, or regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct fraud checks, risk assessments, and KYC verification.

c. Communications:

  • Contact you regarding your loan application, updates, account information, grievances, or Services.
  • Send alerts, notices, promotional messages, and marketing communications, which you consent by accepting this privacy policy. (Customer have the right to withdraw the consent to marketing at any time by contacting the company at hello@salarynow.in).
  • Use WhatsApp, email, SMS, or AI-based calling systems for communication.

d. Analytics and Improvements:

  • Conduct data analysis, statistics, usage patterns, and system diagnostics.
  • Improve user experience and enhance service delivery.

e. Additional Purposes:

  • NACH registration, bank authentication, and loan repayment facilitation.
  • Collect and act on user feedback.

DATA SHARING

We may share your Personal Information only after obtaining your explicit consent and only for legitimate purposes related to the Services, including with:

  • Lenders and financial institutions.
  • Verification agencies
  • Service providers (data storage, analytics, communication, customer support)
  • Auditors, consultants, legal advisors
  • Affiliates within our business group

We may also disclose information:

  • When mandated by law or regulatory authorities
  • To enforce our Terms or protect our rights
  • To prevent or investigate illegal activities

If you do not consent to data sharing, we may be unable to provide you with certain Services.

  • Restricted employee access

Despite our safeguards, we cannot fully control how others use information you may share with them. You agree that the Company is not liable for:

  • Unauthorized access arising from your actions
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data is stored exclusively within India. We do not transfer your Personal Information outside India. Data may be shared with Lenders or third-party service partners within India only for KYC, loan processing, repayment processing, and related purposes.

DATA RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION

We retain your basic minimal Personal Information (Name,Address,Contact details etc):

  • As long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
  • As required by applicable laws, regulatory mandates, or financial record-keeping requirements.
  • For defending future legal claims.

After the required retention, timeframe has lapsed or upon your request (Subject to there being no active loan or pending obligation with us) we will:

  • Delete the data
  • Convert it into anonymized data, where deletion is not technically feasible.

You agree and acknowledge that your personal data will continue to be stored and retained by us as required or permitted by applicable laws or regulatory requirements, or as required for defending future legal claims. All the other details which are not required to be retained per applicable laws or regulatory requirements or as required for defending future claims will be deleted or render the data into anonymized data upon the request of the customer for the deletion of the data, provided there is no active loan or services being availed by you.

You have the right to review, correct, or update your information at any time.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website or Application. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, Courts in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy.
